Old-school comfort food in the middle of an Asian shopping district. Here since 1975, serving up chicken pot pies smothered in gravy. Beware, while the food is "honest" and the waitresses friendly, the TV plays Fox News, and the restaurant's interior, as well as the clientele, seem to date from the seventies.

Totally old school place oddly located in a little plaza I loved the clam chowder tons clams and it had a great flavor. The pot pies are so cool I haven't seen anything like these any other place in LA. And s cool little touch that loved being from the east coast was franks hot sauce on all the tables so cool the gravy was yummy but one thing that was sub par was the green beans they are straight from the can, took away from the taste of the rest of the meal but overall really good

Food is constant. Lisa is a great waitress. Owner needs to be more personable with the customers. Serves comfort food. Yum😉

We heard about this place from a friend. Was little hard to find at first a little shop hidden in the strip mall area. The staff was nice friendly clean. Immediately seated. Orders the chicken pot pie dinner for 13.95 each . Come with choice of of soup ,salad, or cottage cheese. .. a chicken pot pie. Mashed potatoes and gravy and peas. And a slice of pie . ... Now I'm used to the veggies being in the chicken pot pie , but 5here was only chicken and sauce. Over all it did taste good .

One of the last O.G. restaurants in Arcadia. Great place for a home cooked meal!

Tried for the first time food was good.. tried to treat my parents and show them as well however when calling in lady taking order was extremely rude and treated me like I was wasting her time. Chose not to even make order. Last time I ever deal with a rude establishment as such! If I could give no stars I would!

I've been here many times..but went in tonite for pies to go..and I feel like the owner is price gouging..I used to order a dozen pies for about 30 dollars and now it was 60 ..shame on them for doing that

I love the place, I hope it stays open. this was are first time back , they have to be careful, the pot pie, chicken and noodles, and the rolls , were cool to cold. just. saying

Great food with a great price. I love the chicken pot pies but the only setback now is the last three times I've went there, the pot pies had bones inside and I choked on it the last time. Never in the past was it this way. Anyways, the gravy is awesome and many other dishes too. Place is clean, service needs improvement.

Ordered the chicken pot pie, always a wonderful treat. Dinner options comes with soup or salad main dish, mash potatoes and gravy, peas and carrots and dessert.

Classic chicken pot pies done like your Grandma would make them. Great prices. Order your slice of pie when you order your dinner so they put it on the side, so it doesn't run out before you finish your meal!

Where else are you gonna get a chicken pie. Boysenberry pie = greatness. Avocado burger and all the club sandwiches are so good.

Very good home style food with a cozy family feel. The chicken/beef pies are their specialty and do not disappoint. Their other dishes are still good though. They are very consistent with good customer service and overall good taste of food. On the usually neglected review topic of the taste of their drinking water, it tastes really good and you can tell their drinking water carefully filtered. Also their iced tea is freshly brewed daily and tastes great.

Great chicken and beef pie. There's a kick to the cole slaw but good. Gravies are not salty...just right. Potato salad is good. Bread is soft. And the mash potato with gravy...mmh... mm good.You should try their food. Won't disappoint. 😃😃😃

This place has excellent food and large portions. Will definitely go back. We used to go out to the one in Bellflower and just recently found it in Arcadia.

First time here and and it doesn't get more american home comfort feel than this. The decor of this place was really american home feel, not that I've been in such a home, but it that's what I would imagine it would feel like. I ordered the beef pot pie and a bbq burger and my girlfriend ordered the chicken pot pie. They got my order wrong so we both got the chicken pot pie. I didn't realize the beef pot pie has a darker gravy til I dug into my chicken pot pie and it was still great, but I wanted to try the variety. Oh wells, there's always next time for good ol' american comfort food.

Good pot pies. When I'm in the mood for a freshly made, home made taste, gravy filled, and comforting pot pie... This is the place I go. Their best food are the pot pies, mash potatoes, and bread. The rest of their menu is okay, can't say I'd recommend. Because of that I always order to go, buy some pot pies and mash. Their chicken pot pies are only chicken and gravy which is unfortunate, I wish it had some veggies. Their beef pot pie has carrot and peas inside. So come for the pot pies and mash.

I grew up on Chicken Pot Pies, so if I get the craving I come here. Keep it up!

Usually get the mixed, half-darkmeat chicken pot pies to go. We cook them at home, I baste'em with a little melted butter for a golden brown. Man there's nothin' betta on a cold night.

Great pot pies and good value. If you're getting one, you really should go for the combo to get a second pie for about another $3. I suggest getting both the beef and chicken. The mashed potatoes are the weak link in the meal.

I meet with friends this lovely place a lot! This is the best place to grab a bite. I visit this spot routinely. The cooking is excellent, the staff is helpful and the price is good. I enjoy meeting in this restaurant to have a good meal.

Great home cooking. A very unique type of restaurant that has great comfort food. The chicken and noodles is outstanding as are all of their chicken and beef pot pies. I've had their sandwiches, their hamburgers, everything is always delicious and homemade. I like that they have a refrigerated counter with bean salad, gravy, mashed potatoes, etc you can take to go. You can also take home fresh or frozen pot pies or even bring in your own casserole dish and they will fill it for you. It is definitely a go to if you live in or are visiting Arcadia.

Old fashioned homestyle food, one of my favorite places! With a local, neighborhood vibe, terrific service, and the best chicken pies and gravy you'll ever have!

If takos are Mexican food. Then this is some white ppl food. I dont give 5 star reviews. Pretty good stuff.
